PROGRAMS
St. Joseph Day Care Center is a certified private day care center licensed by the State of Michigan. We offer quality Christian day care to children eight weeks through preschool. The Center provides a pleasant and stimulating environment for your child to grow and develop. Parents can be assured that your child is safe and well cared for.
Infant Program
ages 8 weeks to 12 months
Babies need consistent love, attention, praise, concern and caring. They also need people in their daily lives who are well prepared and knowledgeable in sound principles of child development. At St. Joseph Day Care Center, learning is seen as a developmental process that occurs naturally and progressively within a stimulating and nurturing environment. The infants are provided with sufficient opportunities to explore, manipulate, and come to a better understanding of their world.

ages 13 months to 2 years
Our program is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the young child. Opportunities are provided for multi-sensory experiences aimed at delighting as well as sparking and satisfying curiosity. Flexibility and spontaneity throughout the day help in strengthening each child’s individual capabilities at various stages of development.

The Tots Program
ages 2 ½ to 3 ½
Your child will take part in individual and group activities that facilitate small and large muscle development, dramatic and creative free play, art and music. Independence is encouraged throughout individual levels of all activities. These activities also include assistance with eating, toileting, etc.

The Young Preschool Program
ages 3 ½ to 4
Focus is placed on communication skills and problem-solving techniques. Age appropriate group activities focus on large and small muscle development, dramatic and free play, art, music, literature and science. The children are encouraged to talk to each other about conflicts and problems. Independence is strongly encouraged throughout self-directed (free choice) activities and self-help during routines (eating, toileting, etc.)

Our teachers plan these activities as an integral part of the child’s daily activities.

STAFF
We are proud of the warm, nurturing and responsive staff caring for the children at St. Joseph Day Care Center. Their goal is to give your child the opportunity to develop spiritually, physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially in a Christian environment. Their concern for your child is genuine and they wish to treat your child as a special, unique and happy individual.
TUITION
Tuition is based on a half or full week attendance. Minimum required attendance is for four half or three full days (less than 5 hours per day). Please click here to view our Fee Schedule.
ENROLLMENT
Children are accepted into the program as spaces become available. Parents will receive an Enrollment Packet containing the required forms to be completed and submitted along with enrollment fees. For a list of fees, please click here.
MEALS
St. Joseph Day Care Center provides a nutritious breakfast and lunch daily. These meals are supplemented with an afternoon snack.
HOURS
The Center is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Center is closed on selected holidays -- New Year’s Day, Easter Triduum, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Week.
